I’m a creator living in Maryland. I draw, paint, design, create layout, code, and build. In my spare time, I bake gluten-free treats, play the Dragon Age games endlessly, or sing. Sometimes all at the same time. I’m also a bit of a film buff.
Having recently graduated with my second degree, I'm looking to start my next adventure in continuing to build my skills.
I'm a self-starter who loves challenges, and thrives on wearing multiple hats. I started my creative journey as a comic artist, but started to tinker with HTML and CSS in an effort to customize personal projects. In the search of learning more, I've now added WordPress, PHP, building custom CMS, e-learning, and MySQL Admin to my skills. I like to incorporate my skills as an illustrator in my projects, giving them a certain "hand-made" quality.

I primarily work with watercolors, markers, and ink washes. I’ve been drawing since I was old enough to hold a jumbo crayon in my hand. After my obligatory period of drawing the sun with sunglasses, I became obsessed with late 90’s manga in middle school which has influenced my art style throughout. Occasionally, I will dip my toe into making digital paintings in Photoshop and Clip Studio.
Design goes hand in hand when creating art-- it can be daunting, but when one spends enough time experimenting, you can develop a strong design. My workflow starts on paper, where I thumbnail, and then move it into the digital. Depending on the project, I will create in Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign. I'm one of those people who love to create layouts just for the fun of it. Previous work includes: logo creation, vector art, rebranding, layouts, poster design, slide decks, e-Learning modules, flyer design, cover design.
The majority of my experience in web design/devlopment is creating front-end design. I have six years experience with WordPress and have been creating my own WordPress themes for two years, including working with custom fields. I'm comfortable working with PHP, but I know there's still lots more to learn with it. I have also experimented with creating my own CMS. Recently, I have started to teach myself how to create themes in Drupal.
